School Blog, week ending 4th April

As a local boy, born and raised in the Dartford area, being Stone Lodge’s first Headteacher, has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. Together, we have created a truly amazing school community, which nurtures young minds, promotes a sense of belonging, and creates opportunities for every student and member of staff to thrive. Watching our students grow into confident, capable individuals has been a source of great joy and pride.
I would like to express my deepest thanks to each of you for your support, partnership, and trust. Your involvement in our school has been integral to its success, and I am truly grateful for the care and dedication you have shown which has created this vibrant community. I have also been consistently very well supported by a committed and highly professional Governing Body.
While I look forward to new challenges ahead, I will always carry with me wonderful memories of Stone Lodge and its journey from small temporary block to grow into our new permanent school site. I have been inspired by the insight, and humour of our bright and talented students and wish every one of them the ‘successful lives’ they strive for. I leave with the utmost confidence in our team of talented staff, who will continue to guide our students with dedication and expertise.
I wish each of you, and your families, the very best for the future. I will always look back fondly on time spent with you all at Stone Lodge School.
Best wishes,
Gavin Barnett
